First foal 2013 for I WAS FRAMED

1 Mar 2013

It must have been the first warm sunshine of the year in Newmarket, on the last day of February, which convinced ARTZOLA that the spring is finally on its way, as during the late hours she gave birth to one of the most eagerly awaited foals! The bay ALZAO mare, 4 times winner, raced till she was 8 and has had 2 foals so far, both by the flashy I WAS FRAMED and both with rather extraordinary markings. Nor did she disappoint this time – her foal is a strong looking bay skewbald filly with plenty of white!

Both of her older brothers understandably drew lots of attention when presented as yearlings in Newmarket and Deauville. MODERN SOCIETY was sold for 11.000 gns at Tattersalls in 2011 and is in training with Alan McCabe, while SILVERY MOON, bought by top German trainer Mario Hoffer for €12.000 in Arqana last year, has joint his stable in Germany.
