Trainer Luca Cumani's globetrotter Presvis, bred by Andbell stud, is set for his fourth consecutive appearance at next month's International Carnival in Dubai and is to leave Newmarket shortly to continue his preparation for his first assignment at Meydan in January. The son of Sakhee, who has amassed over £4.3m in win and place prize-money, first appeared at the Carnival in 2009 when it was staged at Nad El Sheba. Presvis will be an eight-year-old by the time he lines up in the Group 2 Al Rashiyda, a race he won last year before going on to land the $5m Group 1 Dubai Duty Free on World Cup night. After that he met trouble in running when sixth in the Group 1 BMW Champions Mile in Hong Kong and was last seen when finishing tenth in the Group 1 SingaporeAirlines International Cup at Kranji. After supervising his Dubai team on Warren Hill in Newmarket on Tuesday, Cumani said : "Presvis is to head a team of four that we are sending out for the Carnival this time and they will probably leave on December 17."The others are Fiery Lad, Summit Surge andSwop all of whom have run out there before. Presvis is to have the same campaign as last year culminating in another shot at the Group 1 Dubai Duty Free Stakes."
