Silvery Moon sold to Germany

21 Nov 2012

One of the biggest attractions of the Arqana Autumn sale that took place in Deauville on the 19th and 20th November turned out to be our homebred SILVERY MOON. Yearling colt by I WAS FRAMED couldn't pass unnoticed not only due to his unique colour but also his impressive physique. The auction room was full of spectators curious to see the horse through the ring. It was the top German trainer Mario Hofer, standing in the restaurant, who had the final saying when bidding €12.000. After the sale trainer confessed:  “each time I see him I have to smile, and I think €12.000 is not a lot paid to have a smile every morning!  In the worst case, if he is not very fast, we will not race him and he will stay unbeaten! “
